Recently, my learning and development team was challenged to create a way for our organization to be able to easily access and manage their own development. We knew we wanted to create a space for our 6500+ employees to be able to access learning experiences that had been vetted by the talent development team to ensure they aligned with the organization’s values, mission, and competencies. This “space” would also give the employees access to multiple types of learning activities – formal and informal, classroom and online, social and individual.
Once we decided that an online hub using self-direct learning was the best option, the organization needed to be educated on the benefits, research, and considerations before implementation. The following research project from EDAE-624 focuses on this information.
