In 2018, I had the opportunity to lead the team responsible for organizing and developing the JHA Educators’ Conference.
The conference description was as follows: JHA Education teams are passionate about meeting their customers’ needs and growing their professional skills. In this 1.5 day face-to-face conference held at JHA’s company headquarters in Monett, associates in education roles can network and attend workshops and sessions hosted by JHA experts. Subjects include learning technologies and trends, education design and development, and knowledge sharing best practices. Conference participants will come away with a better understanding of education at JHA and feel more prepared to implement new learning solutions.
As part of this process, a program proposal was created and presented. I was able to use my work in EDAE-629 to complete this.
This experience was especially rewarding because it led to a group of educators coming together to share their knowledge and create relationships that would allow for improved collaboration and access to each other’s expertise. Below is a link to the slideshow that captures some favorite moments.
